The Dynamic Range Hoods Bundle brings together a stainless steel hood, its motor and speed controller in one ready-to-install package, for extracting smoke, grease and cooking vapours. Our range runs from 1 metre to 6 metres in length, with integrated double-inlet centrifugal fan, remote extraction fan box or roof extract fan depending on your installation. For small kitchens and food trucks, see our compact hood package.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an integrated motor, a remote extraction fan box and a roof extract fan on a commercial kitchen hood package?

The integrated double-inlet centrifugal fan is housed directly in the hood: a compact solution for small to medium airflow. The remote extraction fan box places the motor away from the hood, connected by ducting, useful when airflow increases or when the layout requires it. The roof extract fan installs the motor on the roof. The choice depends on your hood length and your ductwork.

Compact package or classic package: what is the real difference?

The compact package is aimed at food trucks, containers, takeaways and premises with low ceiling height, with short lengths such as 1 to 2.5 metres. The classic package is a more versatile solution, starting from 1 metre and available up to 6 metres, suited to restaurants, kebab shops, pizzerias and brasseries with more headroom.

Is a hood package with an activated carbon filter box sufficient without extraction to the outside?

The activated carbon filter box is an air treatment that removes odours, but in commercial kitchens it must still extract to the outside (unlike domestic recirculating hoods). It does not replace the regulatory requirements for extraction and discharge of air to the outside. Its effectiveness also depends on the type of cooking, the airflow rate and carbon maintenance, to be checked for your specific setup.

Is the speed controller supplied with the hood package essential?

Yes, the speed controller allows you to switch the extraction on and off and, more importantly, to adjust the airflow to the kitchen's actual needs, depending on service times or the type of cooking underway. It is selected for each package according to the electrical characteristics of the motor supplied, whether single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V.
