Choosing the right smoke extraction relay panel means matching the unit to your fan and to the intended use of the premises. Four criteria to check:

Motor power supply: our panels are available in 230V single phase (smoke extraction button, remote control unit) and 380V three phase (all the relay panels as such). Check your fan's rating plate before ordering.
Number of speeds: a single speed panel (CRD DS1-E 6A, CRD DS-E 12A) drives the fan only in smoke extraction mode. A two speed panel (Dahlander or double winding) adds a reduced speed for everyday ventilation of the premises, in comfort mode.

A comfort and smoke extraction panel, with two speeds, also allows the same fan to be used for everyday ventilation of a workshop, a warehouse, or for extraction from a commercial kitchen hood. When a smoke extraction signal is received, safety operation automatically takes priority over comfort mode: the motor switches over to its smoke extraction speed.
