What accessories do I need to set up the ductwork for my range hood? Elbows, ducting, etc.

To set up your ventilation system from the range hood to the outside, you will need:

A flat connector or a flanged connector (to connect the range hood to the duct, pipe, or hose).

A flexible, semi-rigid, or rigid duct, tube, or hose (galvanized duct).

A galvanized male connector between two tubes.

One or more 45° or 90° elbows.

A female connector between a flat connection piece and an elbow.

An insulated suspension clamp (+ 8- or 10-mm threaded rod) to be installed at least every 2 m.

Aluminum tape and sealant.

A roof cap, plug, mesh vent, or ventilation flap on the facade.
