What diameter of conduit should I use?

Depending on the size of your range hood, the number of filters, and the motor power, you’ll need to adjust your ductwork system. Here’s a table to help you choose

Diameter 160 = max 800 m³/h (semi-professional range hood for vacation rentals, private homes, reheating kitchens, etc.)

Diameter 200 = max 1,200 m³/h (~1–2 filters; 1 filter = 800 m³/h to 1,000 m³/h)

Diameter 250 = max 1,800 m³/h (~2–3 filters)

Diameter 315 = max 3,000 m³/h (~3–4 filters)

Diameter 355 = max 3,500 m³/h (~4–5 filters)

Diameter 400 = max 4,000 m³/h (~4–6 filters)

Diameter 450 = max 6,000 m³/h (~7–9 filters)
