What are the different types of commercial range hoods available?

The Different Types of Commercial Range Hoods

Commercial Rang Hood Static

A static range hood, also known as a bare range hood, does not have a built-in motor. The motor is located outside the hood, typically in the form of:

  • amotorized enclosure,

  • or a roof-mounted unit.

It is ideal for installations where internal space is limited or for kitchens requiring centralized extraction with a powerful external motor.

Commercial Rang Hood Dynamic

The dynamic range hood is equipped with a built-in motor, typically a double-outlet spiral fan. By extension, the term “dynamic range hood” applies whenever a motor is present, whether it is built into the hood or installed externally.

It provides fast and efficient extraction directly from the hood, with a minimal footprint and simplified installation.
