My turret or three-phase (380V) motorized housing doesn't have much suction

Why does my turret or cabinet have low suction?

If your three-phase (380V) motorized turret or cabinet is providing much less suction than expected, there’s a good chance the phases are reversed.

Check the phase sequence

A fan running in reverse will only provide about 30% of its normal airflow and will never properly ventilate your kitchen.
In this case, contact your electrician to check and correct the phase sequence.

Good to know

  • 90% of low-suction problems with three-phase motors are due to a phase reversal

  • An incorrectly wired fan will never be able to deliver the necessary power, regardless of the motor

Conclusion

If your 380V enclosure or turret has low suction, the solution is to check the three-phase wiring.
