I need to replace my variable-speed drive

How to Replace a Variable-Speed Drive

Replacing a variable-speed drive requires knowing its exact specifications to ensure compatibility with your system.
At Ventilsogood, we offer several methods to help you quickly identify the right variable speed drive.

Option 1: You have the nameplate

If you have the drive’s nameplate, take a photo of it and email it to us.
Our team will respond within an hour (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with the product you need to order.

Option 2: If you don’t have any information

If the nameplate isn’t available, here’s the minimum information you’ll need to provide:

  1. A photo of the variable-speed drive and its connections

  2. Supply voltage: 220V single-phase or 380V three-phase

  3. The type of equipment being powered: roof turret, motor in the range hood, or motorized cabinet

  4. The approximate length of the hood: 1–2 m, 2–3 m, 3–5 m, or more

  5. We’ll complete the diagnosis! If this information isn’t sufficient, a technician will contact you by email.

Important Safety Precaution

All electrical connections must be made or checked by a qualified professional.
This online guide is intended to assist with troubleshooting, not to replace a technician.
